Welcome to Elgin Museum

Here at Elgin Museum you can see objects from all over the world, with a special focus on Moray, and from all periods of history and prehistory – from before the dinosaurs to the present day. The Museum is located at the east end of Elgin High Street, Moray, in the North East of Scotland.

Please explore our website to find out more about the Museum: changing exhibitions, school visits, what’s on at Elgin Museum, heritage and collections research, as well as how to hire our beautiful building as a venue for special events.

We are now closed for the Season – we will be open again on 30th March 2019.

Open throughout the year by appointment.
