Lisa Shaw MFA: Flow Path

Tuesday 1st August 2017 – Friday 25th August 2017

Lisa Shaw is an artist, designer and educator. She brings the flair and energy of the New York art scene to her current art practice in Scotland. Actively involved in ecological and community art, she has also worked with community groups throughout the world creating collaborative artworks and sharing her unique passion for art and sustainability. She creates paintings on canvas, photographs, murals, sculptures and dialogical interventions. Lisa is also the art director of Biomatrix Water, a river restoration environmental company based in Forres, Moray.

Medieval Moray – Knights & Ladies March to Elgin Castle

Learn about Elgin’s medieval past as we march through the town in our Knights and Ladies’ costumes before launching an attack on Elgin Castle!

Free activity (Registration required, refreshments will be provided). Please note: all children must be accompanied by an adult. We will be walking from the museum through the town centre and up Lady Hill to the Castle – may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility.

Meet at the Alice Littler / Speyside Way car park, Aberlour.

Join us for a walking tour around historic Aberlour, Moray, led by local architect Andrew Wright with support from archaeologist Claire Herbert, as we explore the architecture and heritage of this industrious Speyside village.

Please note: this walk covers a variety of terrain, over 3.3km (2 miles) and may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Suitable for over-16s only.
