Dr Gray’s 200: snapshots in time

a talk by Dr Ken Brown, Retired Consultant Radiologist and member, Friends of Dr Gray’s Committee

To complement a display in Elgin Museum celebrating the first 200 years of Dr Gray’s Hospital, Dr Ken Brown, recently Retired Consultant Radiologist will give an illustrated talk about our hospital, its foundation and founder and how the site of a croft on the outskirts of the town has become a modern hospital still fit for purpose. Thanks to money made in the service of the East India Company, Elgin has benefited from two institutions of architectural and social merit, known eponymously as Gray’s and Anderson’s, and both still giving service today.
