Unfortunately, because of ongoing problems with our over-180 year old building, we can only open in a limited capacity at present.

Visits by appointment are possible, subject to Volunteer availability. We require a minimum of 3 days’ notice to accommodate visits by appointment. Please contact us to arrange a visit.

About Elgin Museum

At Elgin Museum you can see objects from all over the world, with a special focus on Moray, and from all periods of history and prehistory – from before the dinosaurs to the present day. The Museum is located at the east end of Elgin High Street, Moray, in the North East of Scotland.
